Kim Brechka is the Executive Producer of The Bill Cunningham Show: Tribune Broadcasting’s nationally syndicated daytime talk show, which has just wrapped up its 5th season. The show premiered September 2011 and quickly expanded to The CW Network in 2012, where it can be seen daily in 98% of U.S. homes. The 60-minute program is hosted by Bill Cunningham, an attorney and nationally syndicated talk radio host.
Prior to joining The Bill Cunningham Show, Brechka spent 12 years at CBS’s The Montel Williams Show. Joining Montel in 1996 as a Producer, her talent and passion for story telling was instrumental to both her and the show’s success. Brechka quickly rose to Senior Producer and then Senior Supervising Producer, in 2005 she was elevated to Co-Executive Producer, a position she held for 3 years until the show concluded. During her tenure, The Montel Williams Show was nominated for two Emmy Awards. Brechka herself was nominated for two Emmy Awards, and the show was awarded multiple Prism Awards.
Brechka is also the CEO of Redgirl Productions - a multimedia media platform that develops talent for future television projects.
She began her career in television at The Ricki Lake Show in New York, where she was an Associate Producer.
Kim graduated from State University of New York College at Cortland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Television Production. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
